Eagles – It’s Election Time!

Thanks in advance to those of you that participate in our democratic process. Please read the following information carefully.

2 leader positions and 5 officer positions will be up for election in 2015. You cannot nominate someone else, you can only nominate yourself. If you wish to run, see the eligibility requirements and the responsibilities/duties of holding the positions here. If you’d like to run, please send an in-game message to Guivien with your main character’s name and whether you’d like to run for an officer or a leader position, or both, so she can check whether you are eligible to run. All information will be kept confidential.

On January 5, the self-nomination forum will open and remain open until January 14. Further instructions will be available on the day that the self-nomination forum opens to the public. Please read everything carefully; reading lengthy documents for detail is something that is required of any member of the Eagles Council – so consider this preparation!

Polls will be open from January 16 to January 21. There is only one vote per player. For instance, if a player has three characters in the kinship, they are still only eligible to vote once in the election. You must be logged in to the forums to vote in the election. Your vote is anonymous. However, like when you visit any website, your IP address is logged by the server when you use our forums. We’d like you to know that we (the Council) will not attempt to match your vote to your profile to find out if or how you voted.

The Inauguration of the 2015 Council will take place at the kinship event on Sunday, January 25 at 3pm Server Time at the Kinship House. The inauguration will be followed by Winter Freeze Tag in Bree. Mark your calendars!
