Lately I’ve been reading some guides, and the Lore Master section on the official forums, and I want to share some of this information with kinnies who are interested into lore mastering.
1 – Guides

2 – Legacies
I’ve been reading the official forums, trying to come up with the best legacies for my LI’s. Of course, I’m not at expert on the class, just sharing my personal selection.
2.1 – Staff
I’m using this staff for every situation, and these are my legacies, mostly focused on dps.
*Burning Embers Initial Damage
*Fire Skills Critical Damage
*Lightning-storm Base Damage
*Nature’s Fury Skill Damage
*Sticky Gourd Base Direct Damage
*Ring of Fire Damage
*Tactical Skills Direct DamageSome people like using “Light of the Rising Dawn Base Critical Damage” and “Light of the Rising Dawn Damage” since that skill is available in every trait line.
2.2 – Books
Legacies for DPS book:
*Armour Debuff Potency
*Fire Damage Over Time
*Light-type Damage
*Signs of Power Duration
*Wizard’s Fire Critical Chance (this could be replaced with Burning Embers Critical Chance)
*Will
*Fire Skills Critical Rating (not necessary, thinking about changing it for a Stat legacy)Legacies for Support book (In progress):
*Armour Debuff Potency
*Beacon of Hope Magnitude
*Charged Air Reflect Damage
*Inner Flame Base Healing
*Signs of Power Duration
I would use “Fire Damage Over Time”, “Light Type Damage” or stat legacies for the other 2 spots.Legacies for swap non-imbued book (still not made):
*Bane Flare Targets
*Fire-lore Debuff Strength
*Pet Morale (optional)3 – Bugs
The class has a lot of, beneficial and disadvantageous, bugs:
*According to this thread: https://www.lotro.com/forums/showthread.php?607463-Does-the-Wizard-s-Fire-Crit-Chance-Legacy you SHOULDN’T equip both “Wizard’s Fire Critical Chance” and “Burning Embers Critical Chance”, but just ONE OF THEM to make the legacy work.
*”Target Resistance (Damaging Skills)” and “Target Resistance (Fire Skills)” are bugged and do nothing.
*”Target Resistance (Debuffing Skills)” works, but it’s almost worthless, you are better off using 12k Finesse.
*”Lightning Skills Critical Rating” and “Fire Skills Critical Rating” are useless if your Critical Rating is already capped (17,6k). Every dps/healing class should have this stat capped for t2 content.
*”Signs of Power Duration” bugs when “Enfeeble” from yellow line is equipped. More information here: https://www.lotro.com/forums/showthread.php?645515-Sign-of-Power-duration-legacy-buged-when-trait-with-Enfeeble-update-18-2-3
*FIXED – “Wind Lore” now gives the proper +1% Inc Dmg.
“Wind Lore” gives -1% Inc Dmg, instead of +1%, so DON’T spam it, just use it to spread Fire and Frost-lore.*”Ancient craft” skill is beneficially bugged! More info here: https://www.lotro.com/forums/showthread.php?603269-FYI-Ancient-craft-legacy-is-beneficially-bugged

Finally I’m attaching my skill setup since I was asked to post them :P (thinking about moving my pets to a un-docked horizontal bar, and put my LI books on the 4th row of skills).
