META: password resets

Hello Eagles!

Thanks to the several hundred people who try to force their way into the Eagles’ forums every day, we’ve had to reduce the number of times you can try to log in or reset your password in one session.

If you forget your password, you have 10 chances to get it right. After that, you’re locked out. (Not permanently. It will reset after an hour.)

If you reset your password more than three times in the space of a few minutes it will also lock you out, as above.

If you get locked out and can’t get back in again, drop me an email and I’ll sort it out.

Or, y’know, get a really good, strong password keeper :P
